Band Bio:

7 Days Away is a Rock/Metal band out of Indiana that has been steadily breaking ground in the US music industry. Their song "Take Me Away" is featured in the Motion Pictures "Punisher: Warzone" and UFC's "Never Surrender". Formed in early 2006 in a small town in Indiana, 7DA incorporates smooth melodies and catchy choruses with intense breakdowns... with powerful and emotional vocals.

In 2007, 7 Days Away released their first album, "Death Cannot Separate", produced by Joey Sturgis at Foundation Studios ("The Devil Wears Prada, Asking Alexandria") and straight away took to the road, touring for months on end and garnering support with the release of their singles "Released" and the acoustic "Final Cry". Their second album, also produced by Sturgis,"Stigmata", was released in August 2008 and featured the singles "I Want You To Know" and their breakthrough "Take Me Away" which they sold 30,000 copies digitally on iTunes.

In September of 2008, 7 Days Away beat 4,000 bands to win a national contest to have "Take Me Away" featured in the motion picture "The Punisher: Warzone"(2008). This band was hand picked by Shaun Morgan of "Seether". A post-competition live interview on X103.3 Indy's Rock Alternative was broadcast on 750+ radio stations nationwide. The "Punisher: Warzone" OST went on to hit 16 on the billboards.

Also in 2009, "Take Me Away" was featured in a movie by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) "Never Surrender" and two further tracks, "The Flame" and "The Calling" were featured in the movie “Wrong Side Of Town.” In August 2009, 7DA released a teaser from their next album, "1231" - their single “From This Fall”. "1231" was due out Summer 2010. In late 2010 Lionsgate and Grindstone Entertainment decided to feature 2 more of 7DA's tracks "From This Fall" & "I Want You To Know" in a new movie called "Locked Down".

In December of 2010, 7 Days Away took a brief hiatus after losing 3 of its members. After a long, hard search they added a new guitarist, bassist and drummer and began playing shows in September 2011. Now, in 2012, the boys have already hit the studio and are expecting an album sometime mid-April and are coming back stonger than ever!!
